Joseph M. Allen (Signe Hedback). She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Maurice and J. Robert Allen; and sisters, Mrs. J.

Dexter (Lucille) Hill, Phoebe and Amy Allen. Helen attended elementary and high school in Rosholt and the University of MN. She was a member Westminster Presbyterian Church. When the U.S. became involved in WWII Helen worked with the Corps of Army Engineers in the Panama Canal Zone.

From contacts there, she was recruited by the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the predecessor organization of the CIA. She served for 30 years in this agency with various positions in the Washington Europe, Latin America, San Francisco, and New York. On retirement she returned to Mpls because of health problems in her family. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Allen and Mrs.

Gladys Allen; and nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 11 AM Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Friendship Village, Bloomington. Helen will be buried in the family plot at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

Roland and his wife Jackie recently moved to California after living in Woodland from 1966 through June 2003. Roland was much beloved as a husband, father, and grandfather and is survived by wife, Jackie; sons, Rick, Mark and Jeff; daughter, Debbie, and grandchildren Matt, Zach, Jennifer, Jason, Rachael, Greg, and Samantha. He was a lifetime member of the National Model Railroad Association and the Tuesday Night Roundhouse. Roland spent his lifetime involved with Scouting and was especially proud of his Eagle sons and grandsons. He left a lasting influence on everyone he touched.

Wagner (divorced), and to Gilbert Bryant in 1961. She helped run the Northland Veterinary Supply Co. during the war, and owned Electronic Equipment and Gifts at 3833 W. 50th St. in the late After moving to CA with other family members she owned and managed her own apartment building.

After several years of deteriorating health, she passed away in Covina, CA. She is survived by her husband, two nieces, a nephew and a great-niece and nephew. Her mother and sister, born Betty Jane Hodge predeceased her. Hegranes Donald Paul. WWII Veteran.
