The only kind of woman who can put up with an Aspie is one who is willing to be a caretaker. She is too young and just starting out on her career.

James Cameron had four failed short marriages, three were to prominent women with careers (Gale Anne Hurd, Kathryn Bigelow, Linda Hamilton.) I don't get gay vibes off Chris. He's very supportive of LGBT as his brother Scott is out, but he doesn't seem gay or bi himself.

Apparently his mother liked a comment where Chris ex-wife Alba was called RACIST. Why would a mother in law do this unless the rumors above are true? Family drama because of a merkin relationship?

People fail to understand Chris Evans

Chris Evans isn’t doing this for PR. Chris Evans doesn’t care about PR because Chris Evans doesn’t care about his career. Evans should have been A-list after Captain America. He did not become A-list. He chose terrible projects - and still is choosing them - because they paid him a lot of money. An incredible amount of money. He’s probably getting $20 million per film. The problem is, these films are all streaming garbage. With the exception of Lightyear which was cynical Disney garbage. Didn’t he just get a Razzie nomination for Ghosted?

He just got attached to a “real” movie - to the highly anticipated Celine Song followup to Past Lives. Notice anything about the announcement? BILLED THIRD.

Career was never a priority.

UPDATE: Before the relationship reveal, he had over 20 million instagram followers but now he has reached a new lowstone of 18.4 million. He lost 1.5 million Frau followers! Just because he pretended to be married. I can't believe it! He underestimated his fandom big time lol.

Chris Evans is not an A lister any more because he chose to make streaming films instead of theatrical films. This made him extremely wealthy but he no longer will be offered leads in theatrical releases. He will likely attach himself to a well-paying series soon. He may even prefer that.

Actors in his peer group need to attach themselves to filmmakers. Henry Cavill and Guy Ritchie, Jake Gyllenhaal and Guy Ritchie, Jake Gyllenhaal and Doug Liman, and very likely Henry Cavill and Doug Liman (Tom Cruise space movie). All keeping each other afloat. These partnerships are absent from Evans’s career.

Evans is losing followers because he is boring and preachy. He used to have a fun IG where he would post himself shirtless in bed. He now wants to “educate” people and posts those awful videos of himself interviewing politicians. Why bother?

Evans will likely have a short marriage primarily due to the woman he married. She is an actress at the prime of her castability, and she has DISAPPEARED. Where are the premieres? Where are the fashion show invites? If Evans wanted this type of marriage, which I do not judge him for since I respect actors who are not attention whor*s, he should NOT have married a rising actress. He should have married a nobody, or an actress who was aging out of prime roles and would have not minded a low key life, or whose career was washed up (remember Jessica Brown Findlay? Neither do I.)

Yes Chris Evans did form a filmmaker alliance with the Russo Bros. Unfortunately, the Russo Bros. committed to STREAMING. They got paid huge amounts of money for The Gray Man and Cherry. Do you even remember a film called Cherry?

Gray Man and Cherry proved that the Russo Bros. were simply good at executing Kevin Feige’s ideas and had little showmanship of their own. Like how neither The Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi were directed by George Lucas, they were directed by nobodies who made no other important films.

Evans needed to work with someone who still has a foot in theatrical.

They are uncomfortable with him because they know something is dishonest about him. A high functioning autistic may create a fake, scripted version of himself to cope with neurotypical interaction. The best example of this would be Woody Allen. Woody Allen is nothing like the Woody Allen character you see in films. He’s very quiet, cerebral and doesn’t talk to his actors at all offscreen.

Henry Cavill is another one, the Henry Cavill character is a cartoon of a British person, excessively polite, basically Paddington Bear. He is not really like that, read the deux moi dossier.

This movie fell apart but I remember at the announcement i thought it was a very odd project for Evans to want to do, especially since the adaptation it was based on was not very good.
