In the build-up to the Three Lions' fourth goal, Bolt suffered a nasty injury that required a stretcher.
Billy Wingrove converted a penalty for World XI to make it 5-3, but Theo Walcott's late lob secured England their first Soccer Aid win since 2018.

Player of the Match
Steven Bartlett was England’s hero yesterday, with a brace that almost became a hat-trick at the death.
He was absolutely sublime, and looked like a hell of a player.
Honourable mentions must go to Tom Grennan and Stuart Broad, who were absolutely brilliant too.

KSI not happy about minutes
YouTube sensation-turned boxer, rapper, and entrepreneur KSI is not happy with the amount of minutes given to influencers and content creators in this year's rendition of Soccer Aid.
He didn't play in the match, but some of his close friends did, and he is seemingly disappointed at the lack of time given to fellow Sidemen member Miniminter.
— ksi (@KSI) June 9, 2024I’m very glad Soccer Aid raised a lot of money today. Always brings a smile to my face every year.
However as football match, that was an awful and boring watch. It was literally ex pros just passing amongst themselves, dribbling past people and shooting from anywhere constantly…

Usain Bolt confirms injury diagnosis
Usain Bolt was stretchered off of the pitch at Soccer Aid last night, and has now revealed the cause of his pain.
The Olympic legend suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon, which caused him to go down in immense pain.
He still left the pitch having got one of the finest assists of the night, and clapped the fans from his stretcher.

Fury's awkward blunder
Incredulous viewers piled in with low blows on Tommy Fury after the boxer's "absolutely mad" throw-in blunder at Soccer Aid.
The former Love Islander bowled the ball in UNDER-ARM after coming on as sub forthe Rest of the World XI in England's 6-3 win.
Some fans even reckonedTyson Fury's half-brother had "never watched football".
Tommy, 25, held the ball above his head on the sideline as he assessed where to throw it duringthe huge charity match at Stamford Bridge.
But he suddenly moved to below his waist and rolled it in.
The ball was quickly hurled back for a team-mate to take the throw properly.

Eden Hazard got his moment
What a moment for Eden Hazard.
The fans queued up to see him, and boy did he deliver.
His free-kick to level the scoring at 1-0 down was what he would have dreamed about on his return to Stamford Bridge.
He dazzled throughout the night with his trickery, quick feet, and those neat little flicks that Chelsea fans loved so much during his time in this very stadium.

The Diary of a CEO host looked destined to make it three at Stamford Bridge but is denied brilliantly by Tony Bellew in goal, who has been quietly decent since replacing Petr Cech.
