Once our regular mailman retired we keep getting part time route people. This last week we didnt get our mail delivered for 3 days. We need a regular route person that actually delivers the mail. Called but phone isnt answered.

I tried to call the garside post office several times. No one answers the phone. I live in a condo, with cluster mailboxes. The mail carrier left the back door of the boxes open, which exposes all of our mail to anyone who cares to pick it up and make off with it. This is unconscionable. Answer your damp phone!!

There is usually a young fellow that delivers the mail to our house that does a great job. However when he is not on duty the others are absolutely terrible!!! No ads, all my neighbors mail, mail that is sent back that they claim is not deliverable and returned, and Garside which never picks up the phone!! This is absolutely ridiculous.Maybe it is time to privatize the postal service as this siuation seems to be getting worse.

worst, I sat and watched the post man deliver my packages to my home on 6/22/20 the one package he slammed on the ground and the other one one he just tossed close to the one on the ground, no knock on the door and he couldn't even prop them up just slammed them down in a 111 degree heat and left them exposed,

I've been trying to reach the Garside office at the local number to see why my cancelled hold on mail has not been cancelled. I've tried two days now, and no one answers the phone. Why?

Cheesed off

I have been having mail theft problems and we caught the thief ( the neighbor and I) however, I'm still having a HUGE problem with the lady that takes over when my regular Mailman isn't available (Manny). Manny is beyond wonderful- however the lady that took his place leaves payrol checks and house payment slips in an open container on my front porch meant for packages that are too big to cram into my locking mail box meant for envelopes. I have been waiting for payrol checks and when I finally get them- she leaves them on my porch openly available for mail thieves . I have had this problem with this lady before and have personally come in to the Garside station to complain but now I am getting really upset and am on the cusp of causing a huge scene because of this lady's stupidity or plain ignorance! Most USPS people are extremely bright and conscientious- this lady is so lazy she has cost me yet another STOLEN PAYCHECK! I have contacted the payroll Company to stop payment and reissue of the check - however I am not happy AT ALL! This is my 4th complaint about this woman's absolute ignorance and prefer that if Manny is on Vacation or has a day off- please don't let this woman deliver my mail only to throw in an open container meant for magazines that don't fit in the mail slot of my locking mail box! I adore Manny but this woman is either STUPID OR LAZY and it's costing me MY hard earned money.

Waited in line to hand in my 'hold mail' form that I had filled out. I asked that my mail be held as of July 19. On July 19 I checked my mail box and low and behold there was mail. Even when I walk this in I am disappointed in the service. Please follow up!!! I was in the post office on July 3rd. The hold was until July 25.

Our regular carrier, Linda, was off Wednesday. The substitute carrier did not deliver the Red Plum papers that include sale ads. I check with two other neighbors and they didn't get their either. Did he ditch the mail? Linda told me Thursday that they came in late Tuesday and were delivered Wednesday. I tried calling the post office but it is constantly busy. The 800 number has a 40 to 50 minute wait time. A senior on a fixed income delays on the delivery of the ads in a time,y manner. Why can't the sub do his job??? Linda does her job every day, every week.

Why isn't this post office being held accountable for their actions???? This is the ONE of the worst locations to do business with. They are rude, and a joke!!! Sorry to say, but This is why the postal service is failing because of the LACKING/UNCARING EMPLOYEES!!!They have Its not their mail, they dont care attitudes. If it was theirs, they would be crying about the lowly poor service as well!!! They are incompetent. Maybe that's why they do such horrible jobs. They lose your mail, cancel holds for customers(really??), when mail is held, they return to sender before you can retrieve it!!! Or they just say sorr for their mistake, but its too late your important mail is just lost in space! They don't imput change of addresses correctly, and answer the phone just to say they will be right with you, then leave you on hold til closing time, then they don't bother to see whose on the line, they just hang up after you've been on hold for three hours. TO ALL-IF YOU HEAR A DIAL TONE, THEY ARE NOT ON PHONE ASSISTING OTHER CUSTOMERS, THEY HAVE PHONE OFF HOOK!!! A poor customer is left stranded on their "TWILIGHT ZONE" phone call, never to return to assist them! Even if they are very busy, JUST SAY THAT!!! DONT KEEP THE PHONE OFF THE HOOK ON PURPOSE!!! And when you get down there, the horror begins and it's even worse. You'd rather do a phone call rather than to witness this very public postal circus!!!!

I have been living in my condo since October and receiving mail. One day in January I go out to get my mail and the whole panel is open and no mail, that same evening I go out and it was closed and still no mail. I go out the next morning and find and card that states vacant. I have been calling the post office for two days and they still don't know what the problem is as they can't seem to get in touch with the carrier. I don;t know if my mail has been returned to sender or what has become of it.

Mail carriers out of this facility are extremely rude, unprofessional and very unhelpful. If they hate their jobs so much to the point they take it out on their customers, maybe they should quit, no? I mean there are a ton of people who would be more than happy to work there and make the money these folks make and have those wonderful federal benefits.
Isn't customer service part of the job? Well if it is, maybe some refresher courses are in order because man do they suck.
