In this school I have had the best experience. I’ve been here since 2nd grade and they take education very well. They have multiple Special-Ed rooms and a success classroom for students having a hard time with grades and keeping up with school work. At my school they have many wonderful extra curricular’s you can do. Softball, basketball, football, cheer, yearbook, student council, national honer society, SADD, Show Choir, Jazz band, and more. I highly recommend that family’s will consider coming to BGM. They have wonderful staff that are very understanding and you could go to for problems. At BGM student and staff relationships are important because as a student I know that teachers want us to succeed so we must be able to communicate with our teachers. Teachers are always understandable if you don’t want to do something like presenting in front of a class. So they will talk to you and find a time do present with just the teacher.

BGM gives students joined from surrounding small towns many opportunities that bigger schools have. Not only did I get the opportunity to work with some of the best teachers, but I was able to take online college courses for free through the school!

What I liked about my school is that teachers were willing to help every time I didn't understand or needed something. With Asperger's I had trouble paying attention but I got better because they all knew and understood my circ*mstances. I ended up graduating early because I did as much English classes as possible, that's what interested me above all else. Even when I did not get along with others or people did not get along with me we handled it, nothing ever got too far out of hand. What I would like to change is the diversity of my school, I understand that in such a small town in Iowa there is not a lot of diversity but its a topic of interest. Not having children that come from the elementary continue with their little tantrums and teachers should give proper punishments to children that aren't mentally ill or "special" who keep interrupting class and causing trouble. Besides that, my experiences were rather bright and inspiring for the most part.
